Forecast now shows the wind falling out Friday afternoon. (At last!) I have scarcely anyone aboard Saturday because a charter cancelled - the rail is wide open!
Seas are forecast to be 6 feet with an 11 second period. This amounts to a ground swell, not wind driven close-together waves.
We fished the day after Hurricane Dorian in swells routinely to 13 feet and even 15 ..but with waves well spread apart, it's comfortable to fish in. (One client limited out in 8 drops the day after Dorian. Ended up with a boat limit.)
Tuesday's 11 hour trip should allow me to get even further off than normal.
Sea bass have been chewing!
