Greetings All,
The House of Representatives is to Vote on the "Modern Fish Act" today (6/26/18).
An enormous hurdle regulators must always clear is MRIP's recreational catch data. Though believed by none, these estimates are ground through the system regardless their complete absence of accuracy & immeasurable negative socioeconomic impact to the rec-fish industry.
It is my hope the Modern Fish Act will help change how MRIP is employed by regulatory bodies.
